TERMS & CONDITIONS

Consultations

Our service begins with a complimentary 30 min Discovery Call, an introduction to gain an understanding of the goals you are looking to achieve. During the call, an appointment date/time will be confirmed for the initial in-house consultation.

Our initial in-house Consultation dedicates 1 hour to view and fully assess your needs, provide guidance on services available and initiate a plan, including a suitable estimated timeframe for the project.

At this meeting we will also carry out a range of measurements and provide suggestions to elevate your storage options.

Note - If you are based outside of London, it is possible for a free video/telephone consultation or alternatively a charge will apply for an in-house consultation, payable at our hourly rate.

Quotation & Estimates

Our quotation will outline the steps needed to achieve your desired goals. Please note, quotations are an estimate and not a finalised price.

Once approved, we require a 50% booking deposit in order that your required service date can be scheduled into the calendar.

If you request for products, ahead of the project start date, we will proceed with the sourcing service and send a curated list, together with an invoice for payment, before we place any orders.

Prior to commencing the project, we will give an overview of the intended daily action plan to be carried out. This action plan is always subject to change, depending on site circumstances as we initiate the project.

We respect our client’s commitment to trust and we offer a high level of discretion and compassion on all our projects. We will carry out the project with dedication and professionalism.

Pricing

Our services are based on an £80 + VAT hourly rate (unless bespoke service), which is also applied to any overtime worked. Minimum session is 3 hours. We will always do our utmost to provide you with a realistic quote that works for your budget.

We will always keep you informed of our progress and notify you when the quoted time is close to expiry, if you wish to extend with additional hours and subject to our availability, we will continue working at the set hourly rate. We do not charge excess fees for overtime hours.

We reserve the right to amend our pricing at any time. Any projects confirmed prior to a rate change will be unaffected.

Deposit & Cancellation Policy

To secure your appointment in our calendar we ask that the 50% deposit is paid. This deposit will make up part of the final payment and is calculated based on the quote given ahead of project commencement.

If you wish to re-schedule a project, we require 72 hours prior notice.

We allow for one reschedule date and this must be taken within 30 days of the original date booked, in order that your deposit can be adjusted against your balance payment. If you fail to reschedule your appointment, we reserve the right to retain a fee of £80 + VAT in administration charges. The balance deposit will be returned.

If you decide to cancel a project, we require 72 hours before the scheduled commencement date, we reserve the right to retain a fee of £80 + VAT in administration charges.

We will remain committed to undertake your project on the agreed date/time, but should any unforeseen circumstances arise on our side and a reschedule date cannot be agreed, we will offer you a full deposit refund.

Invoices & Payments

Our invoices are payable within 48 hours of project completion. Payment instructions/bank details will be noted on the invoice.

Invoices will reflect the actual hours worked and include any that exceed our original estimated quotation.

Invoices reflecting any additional services related to your project, maybe submitted separately, the same payment terms will apply as above.

We reserve the right to apply late payment interest (8% over the Bank of England base rate) to invoices as well as compensation for debt recovery costs under the Late Payment legislation.

Any disputes should be received in writing within 7 working days of receipt of invoice.

Disposal and Best Advice

As a fundamental part of the organising process, we may help you to de-clutter. On these occasions, we will help you to decide on which items to keep, store or discard. We strive to give you our best advice in good faith and support you along the process.

We can make the disposal decisions independently, if instructed to do so, for any items that look to be rubbish, such as broken items or expired food. In these cases, we cannot accept responsibility for any discarded items.

Please also note that estimated time for de-cluttering on projects is sometimes challenging, as this is the stage we will work together. The time estimated is a guide and de-cluttering entirely depends on the pace which you can decide on whether or not to dispose of items.

Rubbish Removal

We are not responsible for ensuring that any oversized items of rubbish are removed or donated to charity. However, we can make these arrangements on your behalf. We will not charge you for this, it should be noted that third-party service(s) coming to pick up the item(s) will. We also cannot guarantee on the collection date.

We encourage our clients to consider donating items to charity, rather than throwing them away. If a relatively small number of items are to be donated, we will be happy to drop these off at a charity upon agreement (transport costs may apply), removing them on the day of the project.

Product Sourcing

During our in-house consultation stage, we may suggest a range of products and accessories. If we feel that such products are helpful or necessary to organise your space.

We understand which storage products will help you and make the most of your space whilst working within your budget and without conflicting with your decor and style. We take measurements during our consultation to ensure that correct sizes and well-fitting products are used.

We will provide a quotation including a list of suggested products for approval and place the orders on your behalf.

The retail cost of the products is required in advance (inclusive of any shipping costs, if applicable) together with our Sourcing Service Fee of £150 + VAT.

The products will be delivered to the project address, unless otherwise agreed.

If you wish to return any of the products that have been selected, the original receipt of purchase will be provided. Please note assembled items cannot be returned.

It is solely your responsibility to ensure that you are happy with the returns policies of the suggested vendors prior to giving your approval for the order(s) to be placed.

If you cancel a project and we have purchased products you are still liable to pay the fixed rate Sourcing Service Fee of £150+VAT.

If the products have been sent to our address, we will either charge you a fee for returning them on your behalf or ask that you pick them up within 7 days of the cancellation date.

We are willing to proceed with a project without making any product purchases. We can work with whatever storage solutions are already available.

Furniture & Accessories Assembly

If furniture or accessories are required for a project, we will take care of small assembly. However, we will arrange for an external sub-contractor for larger items, as well as anything that requires special fixing tools or expertise. The sub-contractor rates will differ from our service rates and we will advise of the price options before booking.

Our typical working hours to carry out projects are from Monday-Friday anytime between 9am-6pm. Weekends or Public Holidays can be scheduled at no extra hourly charge. Our project day rate is based on 6 hours. Minimum project is 3 hours.

Travel Costs

If a project is to take place outside of London, additional travel costs may apply. We will discuss this with you ahead of the project. Typically, we include for one hour of travel and additional travel is charged at 45p per mile.

Other Third Parties

From time to time, we may make recommendations of other services or products. While we will always do so in good faith, we are not liable for any purchases you may choose to make or services you may choose to hire based on these recommendations.
